This was a highlight on a recent Queenstown holiday! The first attraction was the wonderful patisserie, with outstanding quality French baking, including the fresh bread. The staff is friendly, helpful and take pleasure in their work and they are French! Wonderful to try some authentic French food for dinner, as it has been a long time since a visit to the country.....a slice of heaven in Queenstown

As soon as we walked in to this restaurant we were very impressed! What a stunning interior [...] as soon as we stepped inside we were just amazed at how great (and French!) it really looked and felt!
From the checkered red and white table cloths to the wooden tables, the display cabinet filled with delicious-looking French desserts, to the back of the restaurant where you can relax with a magazine in the lounge area with a bottle of French wine, even the clean toilets.. everything was just fabulous and just a real treat!
Throughout the evening a waitress walked around to all the table and offered complimentary, fresh and warm bread rolls which you could choose yourself out of the three different types.. what a wonderful touch to an already superb dining experience!
The food was divine.. the lamb rack was delicious and the Dauphinois potatoes were the perfect accompaniment. The fillet steaks cooked perfectly with amazing sauces!

Food was excellent and consistent. Had dinner, breakfast and lunch over several days. They actually include bread with meals rather than charging extra.

Beautifully designed and kitted out restaurant that is brimming with French authenticity, right down to the excellent patisserie - my wife delighted in discovering her first 'Paris-Brest' in the southern hemisphere. We had both breakfast and lunch here during our stay, and both were delightful. Although not cheap, it's very, very good for top quality French cafe fare and is certainly far better value than the equivalent cafe in Courcheval. Oh, and the staff were great too. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic dining experience. From the ambiance, to the service(including the hosts coming around to talk to every table) to the food everything was perfect.I wanted to lick the plate clean. The flavours were fantastic, the duck melt in your mouth delicious. It reminded me of a fabulous restaurant we went to in Moulin in France. I would highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to go back to Queenstown to return to Les Alpes

Excellent french food in a charming, quite romantic french atmosphere. Neither the menu nor the restaurant itself are suitable for children, which was a great plus for a pair of well travelled, discerning adult foodies who wanted to enjoy an out of the ordinary dinner for two in peace.[...]

Such beautiful French decor with the wooden rush chairs, the wooden floors and the red quilted throws over the backs of the dining chairs, the red quilted pillows on the couches and the lovely, eye-candy French cuisine books scattered on the coffee tables. And then there was the large, high wooden dresser with plate, and the rustic wooden mantle over the fireplace[...]And the coffee was exquisite.

Zut alors! Such a lovely dining experience. Wonderful service. Delicious
food. Beautiful wine. We came from Auckland for a few days and it was one of
the best dining experiences we've had, anywhere. Such a lovely night. Merci
